Topwater Frog

Largemouth Bass like to seek shelter in areas with structure such as lily pads and weeds. Using a topwater frog lure will mimic a frog or other prey that the Largemouth Bass might normally feed on in this environment. By creating a splashing noise with intermittent pauses, the fish will be attracted to the surface and you will have a better chance of catching one.

To get to the Waccamaw River boat launch, take 501 North into downtown Myrtle Beach. Turn right onto Waccamaw Blvd and then turn right on River Oaks Drive. The boat launch will be on your right hand side.
